Build your own copy for macOS 13 or later with guided source setup. The app compiles for Intel and Apple silicon; public installer checks remain.
Version 0.8.0: 80 Swift tests and Intel live quota/credit checks pass. Universal compilation passes. Apple-silicon execution, Developer ID signing, notarisation and a clean-Mac check remain.

Source code, tests and guided Mac setup for local evaluation. Unpack the ZIP, then double-click Build and Install.command. Apple’s free build tools are required; this is not a prebuilt app.
The ZIP contains no OpenAI executable, credentials or private account history.
The public Mac download stays off until the universal app has passed Apple-silicon testing, Developer ID signing, Apple notarization and a clean-Mac installation check. We don’t ask you to turn off Gatekeeper or run a downloaded script with administrator privileges.

The source archive checksum is available in SHA256SUMS.txt. A checksum checks that a file matches this release—it is not a guarantee of safety or a substitute for code signing.
Choose a file on your own device and compare its SHA-256 with the checksum supplied for that exact release. The file stays in this browser; it is not opened, installed or uploaded.
It shows that the selected bytes match that checksum. It does not prove that a file is harmless, notarized or genuinely from its claimed author. A compromised download page could replace both a file and its checksum. Use an independently trusted release record and verify the app’s Developer ID signature too.
Do not install that file. Check the filename and release version, download it again from the verified release page, and contact the developer if it still differs. Never disable your Mac’s security protections to make a mismatching app run.
Version 0.7.2 is an evaluation build. The app is ad-hoc signed; its installer is unsigned and not notarised. No installer is offered here while signing, device testing and release review remain incomplete.
