The full learning library, Website Playbook, business roadmaps, glossary, Bigger Picture and AI Made Useful are designed to turn “I need a website” into a practical plan.
A growing resource for Australians building, improving or looking after a website. Clear explanations, useful checklists and a sensible place to start.
For small businesses, sole traders, artists and community projects who want their website to make sense—to them and to the people visiting it.
Start free with the introduction, introductory PDF and template finder. The full member workshop is in owner testing; sign-up and payments are not open yet.
PorridgeWeb starts with the people your website needs to help. Explore the free introduction, get the introductory PDF and use the public template finder to choose a direction.
The membership page shows working owner-preview screenshots and the resources being developed. These are planned member features, not tools you can unlock today.
The full learning library, Website Playbook, business roadmaps, glossary, Bigger Picture and AI Made Useful are designed to turn “I need a website” into a practical plan.
Seven starting templates and a shared editor, with a live colour studio, contrast checks, Google Font choices, text styling and original starter graphics. A questionnaire and content workbook help organise your words.
A prompt builder and eight local helpers cover customer messages, page planning, search previews, campaign links, FAQs, image descriptions, customer actions and trust-building evidence. Ordinary prompt building and local helpers do not make paid AI requests.
Your Ideas Notebook and editor restore points are planned to help you organise ideas and revisit drafts. Local drafts are not cloud backups; important work still needs a downloaded copy.
Static website ZIP exports, PDF instructions and deployment lessons, plus a draft review with eight bounded checks and six human review prompts. The review helps find loose ends; it does not scan or certify a live website.
The planned Momentum tier adds conversion, content planning and measurement pathways, campaign-page worksheets, customer-journey resources and improvement checklists.
Live AI, cloud saving, the installed admin and automatic updates are still being built. Final inclusions and AI allowances will be confirmed before payment.

PorridgeWeb is a project from Rob, presented as PorridgeWeb by DigiThat. This site offers small tools for everyday tasks; PorridgeWeb focuses on understanding, planning and improving Australian websites. You can use Rob’s browser tools without joining PorridgeWeb.
The aim is practical education and useful questions to ask. Requirements differ between businesses and can change. General website guidance is not a substitute for advice specific to your business.
