Evaluation build — signed public download coming soon

Version 0.7.2 is an evaluation build. The app is ad-hoc signed; its installer is unsigned and not notarised. No installer is offered here while signing, device testing and release review remain incomplete.

What is in this version

  • Local MP3, M4A and WAV library, ratings, favourites, playback, search and creative notes.
  • Estimated musical analysis, editable corrections, combined music filters and smart playlists.
  • Whole-library analysis, including hidden tracks, and an unanalysed-tracks option.
  • Offline editable English transcription, text exports and library backup.
  • Reported hardening: spreadsheet formula-prefix protection, rollback when saving fails, private temporary processing folders, model checksum checks, invalid saved-number rejection and analysis cancellation on quit.

Evidence and limits

The supplied audit reports Intel runtime checks on macOS 15.8.1. Universal binaries contain Intel and Apple Silicon code; this is not proof of native Apple Silicon or older macOS compatibility. This website update did not run the app on a Mac.

Save editor changes before quitting. Unsaved-editor quit handling and large-file reliability still need validation. Musical analysis requires at least six seconds of non-silent audio and rejects recordings longer than two hours. Transcription is English-only; sung lyrics can be inaccurate or invented.

Before a public download

  • Developer ID signing, hardened runtime, installer signing and Apple notarisation/stapling.
  • Apple Silicon, supported macOS and clean-machine install tests, plus update/rollback, permissions, low disk, playback, transcription and analysis checks.
  • Component provenance, licence and relevant security-advisory review.
  • Final supplier, copyright, pricing, licence and monitored support/security details.
  • Fresh checksums for the final signed files and verification through the actual HTTPS download.

Evaluation-file checksums are not presented as checksums for a future signed release.
